This painting symbolizes Jesus as the true vine. In order for us to bear good fruit, we need to remain in Him and Him in us. We cannot bear fruit on our own. But instead abide in the source. He tends to us, and takes his time on us, so that in the end, we may produce good fruit. 

Painting a bathroom might just be the most odd thing I’ve ever painted on purpose. But In the midst of the busiest summer, this bathroom just so happened to be where I found the most peace. 

In the mornings, I would sit on the floor in the corner of my bathroom and read the word. Before getting ready, before starting my day. It might be silly to some, but this is where I would seek God. I would imagine the heavens opening up as I prayed and read the word. 

God doesn’t need the most perfect and beautiful place to meet us, because He meets you exactly where you are.
